Film Submission Guidelines
Please read and follow these instructions carefully
In order to get the best evaluation from My Pro Scout, student athletes would need to submit a created file (from your hudl account) of two games, 25 consecutive plays per game totaling a 50 play cut-up* of game film. Alternatively, athletes can upload file to Youtube, copy and paste file after clicking "submit a video for evaluation" tab on profile page.
Cut-Up film allows the scouts on My Pro Scout to better assess the player's strengths and weaknesses. By submitting cut-ups instead of highlights, it gives the scouts a better understanding of the student athlete's overall skill, understanding of the game of football, and habits during in-game play.
*A cut-up is game film that has been cut play by play in consecutive order
identifying the student athlete.
All skill positions (QB, RB, WR, TE, LB, CB, S): In order to get the best evaluation from a My Pro Scout scout, it is imperative uploaded game film is from the side view camera angle.
All other positions (OL, DL, K, P, LS): In order to get the best evaluation from a My Pro Scout scout, it is imperative uploaded game film is from the back (behind) view camera angle.
Player needs to be identified (highlighted) before the start of each play in the game film so the scout knows where the player is located.
Student athletes playing more than one position will require additional profile. Each profile page is position-specific.
